Artifact 1: Explore, Learn, and Build with Technology Workshop
Description of the Artifact:

The artifact, Explore, Learn, and Build Technology Workshop, was created as a design plan for incorporating apps and mobile devices as instruction activities for professional development training at a higher education institution.   

 

Entry Rationale:

This artifact is to demonstrate my knowledge of how to create a face-to-face learning environment design plan which was used for my real-life professional development technology training workshop.  I can plan and implement instructional activities to meet the learning objectives of my participants.  

 

Alignment to my Career Goals:

I can practice skills at writing and instructional design plan that allows me to focus on several approaches which are the Kemp Design Model, Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK), and Gagne' Nine Events of Instruction.

 

Professional Standards: The artifact aligned to the AECT Standards 1  and ISTE Standard 4.

Artifact 2: Multimedia for Learning
Description of the Artifact:

The artifact, Multimedia for Learning, was created as an instructional plan template that walked post-secondary education students through fifteen weeks online course.  The course was designed to guide the students in the process of implementing approaches, practices, and theories when creating multimedia in an online learning environment.  

 

Entry Rationale:

This artifact is to demonstrate my knowledge of how to create a learning community in an online environment.   I can plan and create an online environment by introducing instructional activities such as discussion forum and group presentations within the Multimedia for Learning curricula.    

 

Alignment to my Career Goals:

I can practice skills at writing objectives using the Audience, Behavior, Condition, and Degree (ABCD) methods and develop an online learning community by constructing instructional activities that engaged the learner with the content.
